Azille Maison is located in the centre of the charming, friendly and historical small town of Azille located in the Minervois wine producing area in southern France.

The current site of Azille was populated as far back as the Iron Age and also in Roman times. The first church in town, St Andre, was founded around the 11th century and was located in the centre of the village. The small medieval centre of the town where Azille Maison is situated has some very narrow streets with a distinctly period feel, and remnants of the medieval walls and many old buildings dating from through the centuries.

Today, Azille has a bakery, an Epicerie (a small general store), a bar/café, two restaurants, a pharmacy, 2 medical practices and a Post Office.  A market with fresh food vendors operates on Fridays.
